In Curse of the Wolf, you worked with Darian Caine. What is she like? I find her to be extremely sexy.
Darian was great to work with. Very professional, a hard worker and also friendly. And yes sexy, and photogenic.
You are the head of Siren Tales Productions, what made you want to start your own business?
I wanted to branch out and become more well rounded in the entertainment field. I knew by starting my own business and developing my skills in the technical end, I would never be without work. Also, being in production and because of my location there are always new opportunities that will come along. I have two registered production businesses and have really grown in the commercial business end as well.
Your new film Genetics in slated for a 2008 release. Can you tell us a little about the storyline?
Genetics is now available at sirentales. com. It’s a 35 minute short that is packaged with another short. It’s a Transformation, body swap movie. (Yes I have a collection of them now and you can purchase them all together) I have done well in this area so wanted to make a series. Genetics is a story about two extremely opposite types of women who end up in each others bodies. One slob and one rich priss. The two characters end up finding out more about themselves in their new bodies then they did in their old. (Check the trailer out at myspace. com/sirentales) I call it a whacky inspirational sci-fi story. It gives a strong positive message that maybe sometimes we should deal with our problems differently then we do. Genetics is not a horror movie, I have a knack for making more of your character driven comedic stories. That’s just what comes out of me. Sooo, it’s me!
Say if a local Jersey girl like myself wanted to be an extra or a dead body in one of your films how would they go about doing so?
When I’m casting for a project, I usually use nycastings. com. That agency gives me many working actors to choose from. I’ll also do postings on myspace, mandy. com or craigslist for crew.
What is your all time favorite horror movie and why?
aahhh, I hate that question. Why does everyone ask it? How about the one where the little boy sees dead people [The Sixth Sense]. I forgot the name….sorry.
Do you have any plans on attending some of the up and coming horror conventions?
If I do, I will post it.
Did you always want to be an actress or to star in horror films?
I evolved into everything I do. I started singing and dancing then moved on to acting. Acting always felt very natural for me. I never had to work at it. I’m sure if I played characters different then what I do, I would have to work at it. For instance, I’ve been told I look like Hillary Clinton. I see it a little. When they come out with that movie, I’ll be older and they should cast me. I’ll have to cut my hair.
Is there a scream queen out there today whom you admire or would like to work with?
Maybe Darian again.
If you could switch places with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
How about that little boy that see’s dead people. Then I Could see Dead People and visit some of the people I use to know.
In a dire situation where you had to defend yourself, what weapon would you choose?
The Broad Sword is my best weapon in my Kung Fu Training. But I don’t think It will be as efficient as a gun. But it would have to be a tranquilizer gun cause I don’t want to kill anyone. Or else I would see them as that little boy and then they would haunt me.
