FADE IN: This Is Some Scene

For years now, This Is Some Scene has covered the entertainment world with a strong focus on film, both independent and Hollywood. We have interviewed actors, directors, authors, even a stunt woman. We have had a lot of fun talking about weird news stories, talking about industry news and covering conventions.

But now I am going to take This Is Some Scene on a new journey. I am following the dream that I had when I started all this 7 years ago with the Philadelphia Video Festival. I would even argue that I started this many years earlier than that but I took a wrong turn back then.

I don’t want to take another wrong turn but taking This Is Some Scene down the wrong road.

So the focus of Some Scene is on writing for film and more specifically, how can I get a screenplay sold. This Is Some Scene will be my journal of how I did it. I will still be doing interviews on the radio show and when a guest is not on, I will be talking about writing and where I am in the process.

I now have a clear goal. I hope others will learn along with me.

For those of you who come to This Is Some Scene for The Angry Princess, she will still be able to write for this site and continue to be a place where indie filmmakers can get exposure for their films.
